Aspargin by Filofarm is a popular product that is often confused with a product of similar-sounding name, which we will write about in more detail later in the ranking 💊. Our testers evaluated this product positively, it is effective, but it is worth taking into account that it is a preparation that combines magnesium and potassium in high doses 👍. 250 mg of potassium in the form of hydrogen aspartate is a high and easily assimilable dose, as is the same dose of magnesium. Both deficiency and excess of magnesium and potassium are unfavourable and dangerous 😓. Therefore, Aspargin works better as a potassium supplement, and due to its high dosage, it is better to use Aspargin on an ad hoc basis rather than as a permanent magnesium supplement.

The already mentioned Asparaginian Extra was known to some of our testers before we started working on today's list. This proves the high popularity of the preparation 💊. As with Aspargin, it contains a combination of magnesium and potassium. The addition of zinc or vitamin B1 is worth noting, but their doses are too low to have a noticeable effect 😞. 300 mg of potassium in the form of chloride is a high and easily assimilable dose, which can unfortunately irritate the stomach. This was confirmed by some of our testers 😬. Magnesium, on the other hand, is supplied in the carbonate form, poorly assimilable by the body. Because of this, Asparaginian Extra is better suited for potassium deficiency problems. Before magnesium is absorbed in the recommended amount, one can bring about an excess of potassium, so it is better to choose other preparations.

Aflofarm is one of the leading manufacturers of dietary supplements in Poland 💊. The NeoMag series consists of several different variants. As part of the tests, we focused on the popular and widely advertised NeoMag Skurcz. Our testers were not delighted with the results. The product contains a high dose of potassium, but unfortunately magnesium is under-dosed and in a poorly absorbed form. This is not helped by the addition of vitamin B6, which does increase the absorption of magnesium, but there is not much to increase when one tablet of NeoMag Skurcz contains only 30 mg of magnesium 😬. We can recommend this product as a temporary supplement to potassium deficiency, but it will not work if eyelid twitching and cramps are caused by magnesium deficiency 😞.
