Monolit is a cosmetics brand for men that focuses on uncompromising quality. The same is true for beard oil, which our group of testers liked from the beginning of the tests 💪. The cosmetic works great, just a few drops, and the beard is easily combed and gains shine 🧔. The oil has a pleasant, masculine fragrance with notes of sandalwood that lasts for a long time. Regular use of Monolit oil improves the condition of the facial skin, so we can forget about dandruff 🤩. The oil owes its effective performance to 97% of natural ingredients. The formula contains, among others, argan oil, macadamia, jojoba and vitamin E. 🌿 This combination of ingredients of natural origin makes Monolit beard oil care for facial hair and skin and provides comfortable and effective care – that's why it has a well-deserved, first place 😎.

Roomcays beard oil is another cosmetics we have tested for beards. Its performance is good – it effectively softens facial hair, smoothes it and makes it easier to comb even a very lush beard 😄. It is not very efficient, especially with long thickets you need to apply a lot of oil 🤨. This disadvantage is compensated by a slightly large package capacity, but if you have a large beard, Roomcays will end quite quickly. And also quite unexpectedly, because the metal bottle does not allow you to assess how much oil is left. The composition of the oil is rich in natural ingredients, we find in it e.g. argan oil and jojoba 🌿. The effects of using Roomcays beard oil are quite satisfactory, but due to the aforementioned drawbacks, it had to acknowledge the superiority of number one in today's ranking.

Benefits

Roomcays, beard oil

  • good moisturizing and smoothing effect of facial hair
  • large packaging volume
  • natural oils
  • nice scent

Disadvantages

Roomcays, beard oil

  • does not cope with particularly hard facial hair
  • average performance
  • metal packaging – you can't see how much oil is left

Proraso is a brand known to visitors of barber salons. Its portfolio includes a range of cosmetics for facial hair care 🧔. From among the available variants, we chose the very popular Proraso Wood & Spice oil for testing. As its name suggests, it leaves a fragrance with a wooden-spicy aroma. It is intense and lasts a long time – if you do not use perfumes with similar notes, the fragrances may not work very well 🤨. Unfortunately, a number of perfuming substances present in the composition are responsible for such a strong fragrance 🧪. Macadamia, avocado and sunflower oil are responsible for the softening and smoothing effect of the oil. The overwhelming amount of the latter makes it quite oily and you can inadvertently get the effect of a greasy than moisturized beard. Overall, however, it is not bad, Proraso beard oil works well, but if you are looking for a universal cosmetics, it is better to bet on another proposal 😉.

Benefits

Proraso, Wood & Spice, beard oil

  • softens and moisturizes the beard well
  • nice scent
  • several capacities to choose from
  • contains natural oils

Disadvantages

Proraso, Wood & Spice, beard oil

  • few valuable ingredients
  • relatively high price
  • a bit too oily
  • lots of fragrances in the formula

Pan Drwal, Original, beard oil

Moisturizing facial hair 8.2

Scent 6.8
Composition 6.1

The name Pan Drwal (Mr. Lumberjack) obliges – from this oil we expected to tame even the most lush facial hair. How did it turn out in practice? It depends – when it comes to the basic application, i.e. softening and smoothing the beard, Pan Drwal works well 😉. The beard is easier to comb and the hair definitely sticks out less. The aroma of the oil has strong woody, spicy and leathery notes. As for the composition, it is a bit worse. The active ingredients are argan oil, jojoba oil and sweet almond oil. Their performance is good, but the other items in the formula are fragrances 🧪. As a result, Pan Drwal oil becomes definitely unprofitable. If the amount of active ingredients were the same as the fragrances, it would be a phenomenal product. However, when more than half of the composition is fragrances, Pan Drwal oil is not worth the price. On this price shelf, products with a much more thoughtful composition are available 😞.

Benefits

Pan Drwal, Original, beard oil

  • good effect of moisturizing and smoothing the beard
  • comfortable pipette
  • pleasant fragrance

Disadvantages

Pan Drwal, Original, beard oil

  • very high price
  • few active ingredients
  • more than half of the composition is fragrances
  • the scent does not match most perfumes

By My Beard is a brand opposite to the position above. This is a budget line of beard cosmetics at very affordable prices 🤩. Do they stand for good quality? In fact, yes – By My Beard beard oil contains, among others, natural oils: argan, avocado, jojoba and almond 🌿. Thanks to this, it softens the beard well and noticeably facilitates its styling. The consistency could be slightly thicker, the cosmetics flows off a little too easily during application. During the day, unfortunately, the beard can be puffy, it is not the most durable oil. The smell is pleasant, slightly citrus, but does not last long. This is a bit surprising, because there are several different fragrances in the composition, but their amount does not affect into durability. The bottle contains a dispenser that is convenient, but at the same time makes it difficult to use the oil to the end 😞. By My Beard is a good option to start your adventure with facial hair care. For more advanced bearded people, richer formulas with a better composition will be better 🤔.

Benefits

By My Beard, beard oil

  • very nice scent
  • low price
  • large packaging volume

Disadvantages

By My Beard, beard oil

  • poor moisturizing effect
  • contains lots of alcohol
  • does not help with fluffy or frizzy hair
  • contains many preservatives
