Ranking of illuminating primers – the best illuminating primers of 2024
A face primer is an absolute must-have for every woman. A well-chosen one corrects skin imperfections, signs of fatigue, eliminates fine lines and redness, and behaves like a second skin. In the case of tired and dull skin, a brightening foundation will work particularly well, as it will brighten the face and give it energy. When choosing an illuminating fluid, it is worth choosing a shade for your complexion and paying attention to features such as durability, coverage, shade and composition. We've taken them into account and prepared a ranking of illuminating primers, so you can choose the best fluid for your needs.

The coverage is effective, it masks minor imperfections and skin fatigue very well 💪. Thanks to the shiny particles, the foundation gives the skin a glow. The brightening effect is perfect for grey and tired skin. The Nutridome brightening primer for olive skin also boasts a prime composition. Rimmel Wake Me Up is an illuminating primer with anti-fatigue properties. We chose the 201 Classic Beige variant. The light texture makes the cosmetic spread well. On the plus side, the SPF 20 filter provides UV protection ☀️. The particles contained in the foundation are clearly visible, the illuminating effect is good and the complexion becomes radiant. Unfortunately, it is not a very durable cosmetic and the effect does not last long 🤨. Wake Me Up contains peptides and vitamins E and C, which support the condition of the skin. However, some testers reported that the foundation clogged their complexion and caused blackheads. Rimmel Wake Me Up doesn't work well for oily skin and skin with imperfections, but if you have dry skin, you can give it a chance 😉.

Bielenda Make-Up Academie Vege Flumi is a vegan illuminating primer 🌿. It gives the skin freshness and energy, creating a youthful look. The cosmetic contains natural squalane and strawberry juice, thanks to which it has an additional moisturising effect. The durability is average, but there is no mask effect on the face. There are no additional ingredients in the composition to support the condition of the skin, but Vege Flumi fulfils its basic task well. It works best with dry and normal skin. In the case of oily skin, the face glows and there are cases of clogged pores 🤔. Taking into account the affordable price and good results, Bielenda Make-Up Academie Vege Flumi deservedly takes a place on the podium.

Editorial Text:
Mary Kay's TimeWise illuminating primer lands just behind the podium today. It is a cosmetic that is quite popular. The primer illuminates the complexion very strongly. For some testers, it was even too intense an effect 🤔. TimeWise doesn't work very well with powders, so keep in mind that if it's too light for you, you won't darken it. The consistency is good, it applies evenly and smoothly 💪. In addition to coverage, TimeWise foundation also provides a gentle moisturising effect. The price is very high, and due to the specifics of the business model, Mary Kay products are not widely available. We recommend this primer for people who are looking for a very strong illuminating effect 💡.

Editorial Text:
Lirene is a brand belonging to the Dr Irena Eris group. The Dermoprogram line includes face cosmetics, including primers. For testing, we chose a illuminating primer with vitamin C, shade beige 03. The primer does a good job of achieving the effect of illuminating the complexion and giving it a glow 💪. Unfortunately, in practice it is not very durable, the manufacturer's declarations of 12 hours of durability can be put between fairy tales 😞. The upside is the pleasant smell. The cosmetic contains vitamins E and C, which have a beneficial effect on the skin, but the composition is quite chemical and there are no additional, natural plant or moisturising extracts in it 🧪. The Lirene primer has a fairly low price, but the quality is adequate 🤔.

- nice smell
Disadvantages
