Bio Oil is a specialized product designed for the care of skin affected by problems such as scars, stretch marks and uneven colour. A definite plus is fast absorption, so you do not have to worry about stains on clothes or bedding. In its composition, Bio-Oil contains plant extracts and oils from sunflower, calendula and soy, which makes the moisturizing and oiling effect of the skin good and appearing quickly. Unfortunately, in its basic application, i.e. support in the fight against stretch marks, it works on average. Despite regular use as recommended, some testers still had stretch marks as before the use of the oil. Those already existing after some time became slightly less visible. A big minus is also the composition. Bio-Oil contains natural oils, but the composition is highly chemical – as many as 12 ingredients are perfume additives! 🧪It would be much better if the manufacturer limited their number and put on substances that are really effective for stretch marks... 😞

Elancyl for stretch marks is an unusual case. We are talking about a product that has been withdrawn from official distribution in Poland, but due to its popularity and availability on the Internet, we decided to take a look at it anyway. Let's start with the reason for the withdrawal – according to the regulation of the European Commission prohibiting the sale of products with MIT (Methylisothiazolinone) content above 15 ppm 😲. This substance is a sensitizing preservative that causes allergic reactions. Most often, the negative effects are felt by women, so Elancyl for stretch marks IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN 😟. Elancyl contains oils and plant extracts, has a nice smell and works well on the skin improving its elasticity. Thanks to this, it is good for stretch marks, but it is still difficult to recommend it, because it carries the risk of an allergic reaction. In the fight against stretch marks, we recommend reaching for products from the official distribution and with a composition that meets the standards.🤔
