The Apis algae mask is a detoxifying cosmetic with bamboo charcoal and ionised silver, especially recommended for those with oily skin, combination and with the problem of enlarged pores. Our testers highly rated its ability to eliminate imperfections, mattify the skin and regulate sebum production 😊. Activated bamboo charcoal effectively cleanses the skin, while ionised silver shows anti-inflammatory effects. Kiwi extract provides smoothness and firmness to the epidermis 👍. Nevertheless, the mask also received some criticism. Testers noticed a rather low performance of the cosmetic and a not very pleasant, artificial smell 🤔. Despite these drawbacks, the overall evaluation of the Apis mask is positive, mainly due to its quite effective action.

SKIN79 Water Biome Hydra Modeling Algae Mask with probiotics and prebiotics offers hydrating and regenerating properties. Carefully selected ingredients include Galactomyces fermented yeast filtrate and hyaluronic acid to help nourish the skin 👍. The combination of probiotics and prebiotics in the algae mask helps to maintain the balance of the skin's microflora, reducing redness and irritation. Our testers highly rated the effects after using the mask, which noticeably hydrates the skin 🙂 . Nevertheless, the product is not without its weaker stons. The testers highlighted, the rather long drying time and the not very convenient application ⌛ because the SKIN79 algae mask is in powder form and requires mixing with water 😓. In addition, a burning sensation 😬 was observed in some users. Despite these inconveniences, the overall feedback is quite positive and the SKIN79 mask deserves a place on the podium.

Bielenda has a range of algae masks in its portfolio. We chose the algae mask with hyaluronic acid from the Bielenda Professional range as an interesting option for those with dry skin. Testers appreciated the moisturising and firming properties of hyaluronic acid, which helps to support the skin's hydrolipid barrier 😉 . Brown algae extract prevents the dilatation of blood vessels and has moisturising and soothing properties. Despite these benefits, testers did not like the fact that the mask needs to be prepared by itself by mixing it with water, which is not very convenient 😓. At the same time, the mask dries so quickly that the application has to be done very quickly, this is not conducive to relaxation. The Bielenda algae mask is not efficient, and by drying quickly it can lead to clogging of the sink or bath 😬. Despite its not bad performance, awkward application and other problems meant that the Bielenda algae mask did not make it to the podium.
Benefits
Bielenda Professional, Face Algae Mask with Hyaluronic Acid
- short composition
- several pack sizes to choose from
- good hydration
Disadvantages
Bielenda Professional, Face Algae Mask with Hyaluronic Acid
- requires self-mixing with water
- dries quickly, needs to be applied in a hurry
- low productivity
- may clog sanitary facilities

Editorial Text:
BingoSpa's algae mask owes its popularity to its concentrated algae complex, which contains five different types of algae and collagen to provide the skin with valuable substances 👍. As our testers noticed, regular use of the mask 2-3 times a week contributes to a subtle improvement in the appearance of the skin, which becomes hydrated and looks better 🙂 . Unfortunately, the product has quite a few drawbacks. Some of our testers reported problems with application due to the consistency of the product, an overly strong and artificial smell 😞 and even experienced a burning sensation during application 😬. The concentration of perfuming ingredients was also noted to be too high 🧪. Nevertheless, the BingoSpa algae mask is not a bad product, but the other cosmetics in our ranking produced better application results, which is why it closes today's list.
Benefits
BingoSpa, Face mask with algae complex
- improves skin hydration
Disadvantages
BingoSpa, Face mask with algae complex
- consistency makes application difficult
- too intense a smell
- burning sensation during application
