Oily skin cream ranking - the best oily skin creams of 2024
Oily and problematic skin is very demanding. It has special needs and its care is not the easiest. Oily skin is associated with excessive sebum secretion, with enlarged pores, blackheads and inflammatory lesions visible on the face. There is a common misconception that cosmetics for oily skin should dry out the skin to reduce shine. Nothing could be further from the truth. Drying ingredients can damage the skin's natural lipid layer, causing it to quickly lose essential moisture and become more prone to irritation. Good creams for oily skin should, above all, regulate sebum secretion, normalise sebaceous glands and soothe inflammation. However, oily skin should avoid cosmetics with paraffin, alcohol and substances that can clog pores (e.g. coconut oil). If you have this type of skin, be sure to take a look at our ranking and choose the best cream for oily skin.

Mel Skin cream for oily and problematic skin, according to our testers, is a phenomenal balm that soothes and rejuvenates the skin 😍. They appreciated its natural formulation and the healing properties of the formula, providing the skin with hydration, nourishment and long-lasting comfort (up to 12 hours) 🤩. Mel Skin cream is based on the valuable properties of nigella oil, which has anti-inflammatory and purifying effects. This effectively tones the complexion, regulates sebum secretion and soothes inflammation 👏. The addition of lavender essential oil tightens pores and slows down the skin's ageing process, while argan oil smooths the complexion and reduces visible wrinkles 😘. The testers were delighted with the effects of the cream - velvety soft, firm and radiant skin without imperfections. They also admitted that the cosmetic is quickly absorbed and smells great. The limited availability of the cream, they said, was no obstacle to it becoming a permanent fixture in their cosmetics 👝.

Eeny Meeny light cream is formulated for oily, combination and problematic skin. The richness of the ingredients it contains makes it effective in regulating sebum secretion, reducing the appearance of imperfections while intensely moisturising 💧 the skin. The testers were very satisfied with the performance of the cosmetic. They said that it does a sensational job of soothing inflammation, mattifying the skin and restoring its beautiful appearance 😀. The formula contains PRINCIPHYAL® SIGNAL-10, a low-molecular hyaluronic acid that aids skin regeneration, improves firmness and elasticity, blueberry extract to soothe irritation, sage extract to normalise sebaceous glands and cranberry seed oil to even out skin tone 👏. Hemp Mazidło by Polny Warkocz delighted our testers with its very short, natural 🌿 composition. They also admitted that, despite its compact and thick consistency, the cream does not clog pores and is gentle on the skin. However, as most of the testers noted, the greasiness of Hemp Mazidla makes it impossible to use it on the day 🤷♀️. The ingredients include hemp seed oil, which reduces sebum secretion and reduces oily skin, bergamot oil to regulate sebaceous glands and shea butter to nourish and regenerate the skin 👍. Testers complained about the cream's overly intense herbal fragrance, and said that it was difficult to spread on the skin. However, they praised its performance.

Editorial Text:
Aqua Light by Make Me Bio is a vegan 😻 cosmetic designed for oily skin and skin with excessive sebum production. The natural plant oils contained in the composition (hazelnut, grapefruit) have an antibacterial effect, thus alleviating skin inflammation. On the other hand, apricot kernel oil 🍑, jojoba oil and vitamin E are responsible for intensively moisturising the skin. However, our testers were not satisfied with the consistency of the cream, as they stated that a greasy, unsightly film remains on the skin and the cream additionally whitens the skin. This makes it unsuitable for daytime use n.p. under make-up 💄. The very slow absorption of the cream and the price inadequate for the quality made Aqua Light close our ranking.
