Hair oil ranking for wet oiling - best hair oils for wet oiling 2024

Hair oiling is a well-known and very popular hair care method for hair strengthening, shine and health. Hair oils are very different in consistency from conditioners or hair masks. They do not foam, have a greasy formula and are absorbed into the hair. However, they can successfully replace many cosmetics such as hair rubs, the aforementioned conditioners and masks, serums or styling preparations. Hair oils moisturise and regenerate hair strands, can prevent hair loss and split ends, counteract frizz and fly-away hair and keep the scalp healthy. The most common way to use oils is wet oiling. The product is applied to damp hair and left on for the length of time specified by the manufacturer. Wet treatment is most effective as the moisture helps the oil to penetrate the hair. In addition, it is much easier to apply the product to damp hair. Whether you already know the benefits of oiling your hair or are just starting out, the ranking below will help you find the best wet oil product for your hair.

Botame's hair oil is a beauty product that boasts scalp- and hair-friendly ingredients 😘. Our testers praised the natural composition and effectiveness of the product. The formula contains 7 natural oils (soybean, macadamia, sweet almond, coconut 🥥, argan, inca inchi, jojoba), so hair is intensely moisturised, strengthened and nourished after using the oil. Testers said that regular use of Botame oil prevents split ends and hair breakage, smooths strands and restores a healthy shine 💫. They also praised the use of a pipette for easy dosing of the product, although noted that the thick consistency of the product made it a little difficult to apply to the hair (even when wet). The Merhair lightweight serum by Hairy Tale Cosmetics is a multi-tasking beauty product. It can be used to protect ends from split ends and frizz, or as a wet oiling product for hair 👏. Our testers agreed that when used regularly, the serum smoothes, softens and moisturises hair and soothes the scalp 🌬. It is great for oiling the hair, but used on the ends, according to some testers, causes stress on the strands 😕. The ingredients include meadowfoam seed oil to nourish the hair, squalane to protect strands from external factors and sodium hyaluronate (a derivative of hyaluronic acid) to moisturise and make hair more supple. The scent was not to the liking of most testers, nor was the design of the bottle. They found it rather infantile👶 for this type of product. The price of the Merhair serum is high, but it is very efficient.

The last place in the ranking went to the Herbal Essences Bio:Renew brand oil. Our testers were not satisfied with the composition of the cosmetic, which contains alcohol and unnecessary substances of synthetic origin 🤷‍♀️. The oil is based on the soothing and regenerating properties of aloe vera leaf extract and argan oil to moisturise, smooth and soften the hair 😘. However, testers complained that the scent was too sweet🍭 and that the spray atomiser inaccurately sprayed the product on the hair. The advantage of Herbal Essences Bio:Renew is the large capacity of the bottle (100 ml) and the favourable price 😀 . However, the cosmetic is not readily available.
