According to the testers, the base coat for UV/LED hybrid polish, offered by the Polish brand HANDS, prepares the nail plate for hybrid manicure very well. The testers highly evaluated the impact of the HANDS base on the durability of the polish 🏆 The hybrid base is highly adhesive, and the brush allows for convenient and precise application of the product. The product lasts for a long time, only a thin layer of coat is enough to achieve the desired result. The cosmetic product has a mild formula with good density and provides even coverage. The testers liked it for the fact that it does not flow and does not shrink when cured with a UV lamp, does not stain the cuticles and covers the plate with a neutral colour. What was important for the testers, the composition of the base coat 🔎 does not contain potentially harmful substances such as toluene, DBP and formaldehyde. The overall test results were very positive for this product, which gives it a well-deserved first place in our ranking.

Our testers really liked the beautiful, delicate shade of pink 💗 and the overall good quality of the Reney Cosmetics hybrid rubber base coat. This product is great for such types of manicure as Baby Boomer or French. The product has very good adhesion to the nail plate and is a bit like polish in use. As our tests showed, the Reney Rubber Base evens out the nail plate very well and blends into it. The base was designed as a professional product for use in nail salons, but it will do just as well for at-home application. On the downside, the efficiency is average and the amount of product in the packaging is small. This base coat receives from us a strong, second place in the ranking.

Our testers liked the Prolaq hybrid base coat for its interesting composition with nourishing keratin, biotin and caffeine ☕ As tests have shown, the evaluated hybrid base coat significantly improves adhesion. It has proven itself well in terms of additional protection and reconstruction of damaged and fragile nails, regenerating the nail plate under a layer of polish. 🥰 Slightly milky colour allows to hide imperfections of the plate and gives a boost to bright colours. During the treatment, the product requires washing of the dispersion layer with a cleaner.
Benefits
Prolaq, Base Coat Strong, UV hybrid base coat
- composition enriched with regenerating nutrients
- smooths out the nail plate well
Disadvantages
Prolaq, Base Coat Strong, UV hybrid base coat
- requires washing
- medium adhesion

Indigo Protein Base is a good quality base coat for UV hybrid polishes, which can also be used to extend and repair nails. The product got high marks when it comes to consistency; the base does not flow off and evens our the nail plate well 👍 It also extends the durability of the polish and works well when nails are exposed to extreme temperatures. Our testers found the efficiency of the Indigo Nail Labs base coat to be good, which is important, as the small package only contains 7 ml of the product. Despite this, the product runs out quite quickly. In addition, some of our testers reported problems with the durability of the base coat in the case of oily nail plate 😞. In some cases, with prolonged use the hybrid base coat led to drying out of nails. For this reason, despite its popularity, it was not on the podium of today's list.

- smooths out the nail plate well
- fairly good efficiency
- good texture
Disadvantages
Indigo Nails Lab, Removable Protein Base, hybrid base coat
- high price
- may dry out nails
- in some cases, it does not adhere to the plate
- does not work with oily nail plate
- small packaging volume

In our tests, we also checked the Sunone brand product intended for use as a base coat for hybrid polishes. It received quite low ratings from our testers in terms of extending the durability of the polish. The testers also did not like the brush and the application. 😐 The base coat creates a fairly even and adhesive coat for the polish, but you need to apply a large amount of product. It is also far too expensive. Especially given that the bottle contains only 5ml of the product (the average content is 8-9 ml).
Benefits
Sunone, UV/LED hybrid base coat
- smooths out the nail plate well
- takes a long time to cure
Disadvantages
Sunone, UV/LED hybrid base coat
- does not affect the durability of the polish too much
- inefficient
- small amount of product in the packaging
- inconvenient brush
