Manaya's lightweight body lotion has been specially formulated for very dry and irritated skin, containing hemp oil and a host of other active ingredients to effectively moisturise and regenerate the skin 💧. Manaya's rich lotion formula relies on the effectiveness of natural ingredients such as hemp oil, coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera extract, as well as sweet almond oil and soothing panthenol 🌿 so it provides intense hydration even to severely dry skin and soothes irritation 🤗. Our testers who tried this lotion were delighted with its action and effectiveness, and also appreciated its texture, efficiency and pleasant fragrance 😍. In addition to its moisturising properties, the lotion evens out the skin tone and firms it. Hemp oil, which is the trademark of the brand's cosmetics 🥰, is responsible for this. The combination of natural ingredients and great efficacy makes Manaya's hemp oil lotion the number one in today's ranking of products for very dry skin 👌.

Editorial Text:
Moisturising Dry Skin Lotion by CeraVe, a brand that originates from the United States and is quite popular. The lotion was developed in collaboration with dermatologists, which translated into a 👍 skin-safe formulation. The lotion formula contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid, which effectively moisturise and lubricate the skin and take care of the binding of water molecules 💧. However, the formulation is not natural and our testers noted that the formula can leave a greasy film on the skin 🧪. The CeraVe lotion moisturises dry skin well, but can be problematic when blending with other cosmetics as it promotes rolling. Due to the tube without a dispenser, we rate the packaging as quite impractical 🤔. Due to these drawbacks, with especially leaving an oily film, the CeraVe lotion works best as an ad hoc moisturiser for severely dry areas rather than for daily skin care 😉.
Benefits
CeraVe, Moisturising Lotion for dry skin
- strong hydration
- good performance
- dermatologically tested
Disadvantages
CeraVe, Moisturising Lotion for dry skin
- leaves a greasy film
- synthetic composition
- the tube gets dirty easily
- does not work very well with other cosmetics

Editorial Text:
Cetaphil MD Dermoprotector is a face and body lotion that has been shown to moisturise, lubricate and protect skin from dryness. It happens to be recommended to support very dry skin 😊. The lotion is versatile and suitable for use on the whole body, is non-irritating and safe. Our testers were pleased with the level of hydration and performance, but it is not a product without flaws. First of all, Cetaphil MD Dermoprotector has a lot of glycerine in the formulation and leaves a greasy film on the skin. Isopropyl palmitate is also present in the formulation, which has a comedogenic effect 🧪. Some testers reported an increase in facial pimples and this was probably due to the above two ingredients 😬. Cetaphil MD Dermoprotector lotion moisturises very dry skin well, but we do not recommend it for the face or for people with skin prone to imperfections.
Benefits
Cetaphil, MD Dermoprotector, face and body lotion
- universal formula
- moisturises, smoothes and protects against dryness of the skin
- performance
- spreads well
Disadvantages
Cetaphil, MD Dermoprotector, face and body lotion
- texture too oily
- may have a comedogenic effect
- few natural substances in the formulation
- very high price

Editorial Text:
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume moisturising lotion has been developed based on studies of the skin microbiome. It contains ingredients that prevent dryness and itching, and regular use helps to keep skin smooth, hydrated and nourished 🙂 . Although some may be bothered by the peculiar smell and the impractical bottle, from which it is difficult to extract the tip of the contents, the La Roche-Posay lotion was rated positively by our testers. However, they pointed out that it had a very heavy texture that left a greasy and shiny layer on the skin. This made it work best when used at night, as it would leave a thick, shiny layer during the day 😬. Furthermore, it contains PEG and the price is very high 🧪. So this is a lotion with good efficacy for very dry skin, but there are options available both much cheaper and with better formulations.
Benefits
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M
- good performance
- moisturises, smoothes and protects the skin from drying out
- the first effects are quickly visible
- very high price
Disadvantages
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M
- PEG composition
- ill-considered packaging
- specific smell
- very heavy texture
- leaves a sticky film on the skin

Editorial Text:
Ziaja Kuracja Ultranawilżająca Mocznik 5% lotion from the Ziaja Med line is a body product that does a good job of moisturising the skin. The emulsion contains urea and physiological lipids to help rebuild epidermal barriers and soothe irritation 😉 . Our testers noted the positive moisturising effects, but pointed out a few drawbacks. The formula contains PEG, and the lotion leaves a film on the skin. It can also clog sensitive areas of the skin and thus cause blemishes 😞. Nevertheless, the Ziaja Kuracja Ultranawilżająca Urea 5% lotion is a good cosmetic for people with sensitive skin who need subtle care. It won't cope with every case of very dry skin, but you can give it a chance before reaching for lotions for close to £100. We advise against using it on the face, however, due to its comedogenicity 😓.
Benefits
Ziaja, Med, Urea 5% Ultra Moisturising Treatment, Body Emulsion
- moisturising effect
- affordable price
- natural extracts in the composition
- convenient dispenser
Disadvantages
Ziaja, Med, Urea 5% Ultra Moisturising Treatment, Body Emulsion
- PEG composition
- may clog sensitive skin areas
- hydration may be too weak
- rather not suitable for the face
